Terms of Service
Scope of work
HyperTemp HVAC provides residential HVAC repair, installation, and maintenance services in the Atlanta metro area. Every service call begins with a diagnostic. Repairs are quoted in writing before parts are replaced. Installations are quoted in writing before equipment is ordered.
Diagnostic fee
A $75 diagnostic fee applies to most service calls and covers up to 30 minutes of troubleshooting. If deeper diagnostic work is required, the fee becomes $125. Refrigerant leak searches are an additional $125 due to the extra equipment and time required. If you choose to proceed with a system replacement, and the diagnostic plus any small repair amount we already quoted totals under $300, that amount is credited back against the install.
Estimates and quotes
Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Prices may change after that period due to parts cost or supplier availability. We will tell you before any work begins if a quote needs to be revised.
Warranty
Parts we install carry the manufacturer warranty, typically 1–10 years depending on the component. Labor on repairs is warrantied for 90 days. New system installations include a one-year labor warranty in addition to the manufacturer coverage. Warranty work requires the original system to have been installed, serviced, or maintained by us, and is void if a third party services the unit in a way that voids the manufacturer warranty.
Payment terms
Payment for residential repairs is due at completion of work. We accept cash, credit card, and debit card. For installations, a deposit may be required before equipment is ordered; the balance is due at the completion of installation. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% per month finance charge.
Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a scheduled appointment without charge up to 4 hours before the technician is dispatched. If a technician arrives on site and you elect not to proceed, the $75 service-call fee still applies. For installation deposits, refund terms are specified in the written installation quote you sign.
Liability
HyperTemp HVAC is licensed and insured to perform residential HVAC work in Georgia. Our liability for any single service call is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages including lost food, hotel costs, or lost rental income.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Cobb County, Georgia.
